Yes, most involve a bit of booze. Aren't those the best holidays? Like Cinco de Mayo, it's pretty much just an excuse to have a drink. These lift your spirits in unexpected ways.
Picks for kids:
Nothing too elaborate here as most are appropriate for a preschooler and an unambitious mom. I'm always amazed at the creativity of the moms out in blogland. I'm always like, Why didn't I think of that?!

Think real hard about putting your house on the market! We've had ours on and off for two years and with the girls getting bigger I want to pull my hair out and scream at the top of lungs trying to pick up all their stuff and we dont have a lot of toys. Definitely consign. I started last year and loved it. A little bit of time is spent getting it all together but last summer I made $450 and put it all in the girls saving account. Its worth it!
