Questions | Which Tourist Outfit Is Better?

You guys were so helpful with my beach dilemma that I'm asking for style help again. Mark and I are heading out today for a weekend in Chicago - sans kiddos! I cannot tell you how excited I am. We've only been away from them both one time - and this time I won't be chained to the breast pump!

Of course I have not even begun to pack. But I want to look cute as we play tourist.

Do you like the outfit on the left? I love the idea of a short, belted skirt in a cheerful color. But I'm not sure the hat even goes.

Or the one on the right? I'm so predictable with stripes and red.

What are your plans for the weekend? If anyone has Chicago recommendations, I would love to hear them!!
